WVPMA holds quarterly meetings for its membership to discuss issues relevent to the practice of podiatry. These meetings are held by video conference at one of three meeting locations. These locations include Charleston, Morgantown and Martinsburg
WVPMA has secured the services of Nelson B. Robinson, a lobbyist, to keep membership updated on bills in the West Virginia legislature that may affect podiatrist and to lobby the legislature on behalf of WVPMA.
WVPMA officers have had meetings and discussions with PICA in an effort to lower malpractice rates for Podiatrists in West Virginia.
